Sweet Handmade Package...
Today I mailed off this sweet package I handmade. I made the bottom of the box out of chipboard. I painted the outside with white acrylic paint to look shabby and adhered a piece of the paper, also used for the lid, to the bottom inside. The top, lid, I made out of kraft styled scrapbook paper and scalloped the edges. I tied it up with a strip of ripped, frayed polka dot fabric, a tag with a handmade ribbon rose and one of my decorated cupcake clothespins. Inside I enclosed half a dozen of my decorated clothespins for submission to a magazine I LOVE, Somerset Life! We'll see what happens from here :)

Magnets, Clothspins and a Baby Pink Tray...
I just love the way the clothspins, banner and magnets look on this baby pink tray. So Shabby Chic. It would look adorable in a baby's room. Lots of magnets, that's the kick I've been on. I've listed the bulk on my Etsy for sale (clothspins are listed also). I'm experimenting with new designs such as the magnet seen here made using canvas, ruffled netting and a piece of round glass to top it off. I can give instructions on how to make any of these projects, just leave me a comment.
I hope you have a beautiful day & thanks for stopping by :)
